We need You
WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS.
Bridge Houses has NO paid employees. All of the work being done is by volunteers. All marketing materials and start-up expenses are being paid by the founder and board members as a donation to the ministry.
YOUR PARTNERSHIP MAKES BRIDGE HOUSES POSSIBLE.
We need your help. Bridge Houses provides a safe living environment for women in recovery to heal and grow. We pay rent and utilities on the ministry house every month. The women in our program contribute as soon as they get a job, but sometimes that takes awhile. We need your help to keep the ministry houses open.
Our goal is to eventually be able to put some of the money the women pay as program fees into an account which would go to pay deposits at their own place when they are ready.
IF YOUR HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.....Ask us
We are very transparent.
Our financial records are open to anyone partnering with us. We are good stewards of the money God provides and welcome accountability. If you partner with us you can be assured that your money will go to change the lives of homeless women and their children.

Bridge Houses is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that depends on donations and fundraisers to operate.
The founder of Bridge Houses, has gone into Washington County Jail every Thursday afternoon to minister to the women who are incarcerated for over 5 years, and in 2019 started going into Eddie Warriors and Mabel Bassett Correctional Center with Kairos prison ministry. She shares the love of God and encourages the women to see themselves differently than they have in the past........and challenges them to do something different, because if we want something different we have to do something different.
Effective mentoring is putting people in an environment where they can get stronger. This is what Bridge Houses is all about.
When the women are released, Bridge Houses helps women in and out of our program. This includes transportation and help to get their identification, counseling on job search, providing shoes and clothing for their new jobs, taking them to court and staying with them so they are not alone, as well as moral support in their journey.
A Hand-Up.....Not a Hand-Out
We believe that we are sent as American Missionaries (with our jail and recovery ministry) to a place that is foreign to most of us..........a foreign place that happens to be in our own community. A place where women are homeless and have no resources of their own.
Just as we cannot all go to foreign countries, not everyone is called to this type of ministry........but those who cannot go can help with financial support to those who can.
We need partners who will stand with us to help support this work.
All donations are tax deductible.
We have women NOW who need a safe place to live, women who are homeless.... just trying to get by.
Women who need to see the love of God reaching out to them through our hands.
Please prayerfully consider partnering with us.
